This site is intended for all. Whether you have a passing curiosity about birds or are thinking about owning a pet canary, there should be items of interest. If you have ever wanted to keep any caged bird, be it a parrot, cockatiel, or any other breed and want to know more, then there will be something to learn. The same is intended for an experienced breeder of top class canary show teams.

To help you care for your birds I have produced a book and DVDs  which are full of helpful hints, tips and suggestions, gained over my many years caring, breeding and showing Fife Canaries.

Terry's original 'The Fife Canary' book was originally published in 2000. It was very popular, selling over 3000 copies both in the UK and all over the world. Seen as the definitive guide on breeding, rearing and showing Fife canaries, it has unfortunately been out of print for around four years.
